John Johnston - Vice President
As the leader of QHR’s Management and Leadership Practice, John Johnston oversees a team of consultants delivering comprehensive strategic, operational and financial improvement solutions to hospitals of varying sizes nationwide. Specifically, John and his team offer extensive experience leading hospitals through strategic and financial turnarounds, operating cost reduction, strategic growth, physician alignment and reform readiness implementation.
John has more than 20 years’ experience in consulting with non-profit community hospitals in the areas of strategy, operations and quality; he also has extensive experience in hospital finance. He speaks to hospital executives and trustees frequently on the topics of healthcare reform, strategic direction, and improving financial performance.
