This two-day seminar at the QHR Learning Institute will help your hospital properly assign DRGs through a DRG review process. Your case manager will learn to support your medical staff with documentation techniques that ensure correct DRG assignment.
On-site education and DRG review
QHR consulting specialists in case management and coding and reimbursement work together to provide hands-on education and support at your facility. We will:
- Conduct a DRG accuracy review of selected hospital records
- Report your DRG accuracy rate and documentation improvement opportunities
- Analyze your case mix index and DRG frequency reports
- Develop a DRG-targeted management action plan with specific steps for each diagnosis
- Include a key indicator measurement tool in the action plan to monitor progress

DRG documentation management implementation
We help you implement DRG review in your hospital over a six-month period, including three on-site visits to work with case managers, coders and key physicians. Our experts:
