Serving as a hospital trustee requires significant volunteer commitment. Trustees must function in a complex healthcare environment, one that is constantly changing and that demands extensive knowledge of hospitals and healthcare.

Pre-Conference Workshop for Board Leaders
QHR has added a pre-conference workshop for hospital Board Chairs on the afternoon before the Trustee Conference begins. This workshop is designed to make Board Chairs more effective leaders: from the nuts and bolts of meeting management to handling sensitive physician issues. Board Essentials
Our Board Essentials program provides an opportunity to meet with new board members from across the country and explore topics critical to your role as a hospital trustee. You will learn about hospital finance, physician credentialing, strategic planning, legal responsibilities, CEO recruitment, hospital quality and safety, compliance, and physician relations in an interactive, networking environment.
