QHR Experts to Present at Institute for Medical Leadership Event
Brentwood, Tenn. (August 26, 2010) – Two Quorum Health Resources associates will speak at The Institute for Medical Leadership’s Chief of Staff Boot Camp for medical staff leaders and hospital trustees and administrators on December 10-12, 2010 and February 4-6, 2011. QHR Vice President, Eastern Operations, Mickey Bilbrey will present on “Healthcare Trends in the Age of Reform” and BJ Millar, QHR Physician Services practice leader, will present on “Physician/Hospital Enterprise Strategies.”

About Mickey Bilbrey
Mickey Bilbrey has extensive operations experience in hospitals, health systems and academic medical centers. Previously, he served as president and CEO of the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, and as CEO of Empire Health Services in Spokane, Washington. Most recently, he was a senior managing director for Phase 2 Consulting, where his principle focus was strategic planning, physician/hospital integration, financial and operational turnarounds, and strategic restructuring of clinical services. At QHR, Mickey oversees the operations and development of QHR’s hospital management and consulting contracts, Eastern Division, which includes approximately 70 hospitals in more than 20 states.
About BJ Millar
BJ Millar has more than 18 years of healthcare management and consulting experience. A seasoned expert in the areas of physician practice management and staffing, and implementation of improved clinical processes and systems, he assists QHR hospital clients with practice assessments, benchmarking, hospital and physician contracting, electronic data interfaces and productivity improvement, among other things. Prior to joining QHR, BJ served as senior associate at Equation Consulting and managing senior partner at Vertex Healthcare Consulting.
