QHR Patient Financial Services Leader to Present at Maryland AAHAM Annual Institute
Brentwood, Tenn. (August 19, 2010) – Quorum Health Resources (QHR) Patient Financial Services Director Dan Hobbs will be a presenter at the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM), Maryland Chapter, Annual Institute on September 14-16, 2010. He will speak on “New AR Benchmarks to Meet Tomorrow’s Challenges” and “Advanced Access Management.”
“The healthcare landscape in the United States has changed dramatically in recent months and will continue to evolve over the next decade as health reform is fully implemented,” says Hobbs. “Along with the expected increase in demand for services, hospital leaders must also prepare to manage reductions in reimbursement while driving quality improvement. A keen focus on the revenue cycle will be required – a commitment to streamlining processes, expediting billing and keeping cash flowing. These are all areas we will touch on at Maryland AAHAM.”
