Region 1 President
Karolyn Broussard, region president, is responsible for ongoing client service and new business development in QHR’s Region 1. She serves nearly 53 hospital clients and oversees QHR regional executives who advise hospital management teams and boards on hospital operations, as well as QHR consulting relationships with hospital clients in Region 1. With over 30 years of experience in large and small hospitals and in healthcare consulting practices, Ms. Broussard has held positions from department head to academic posts to consultant.
Most recently, Ms. Broussard served as senior vice president of QHR’s Consulting Division where she successfully created new consulting practices and designed business policies to better manage the division’s activities. She received her undergraduate and masters (MBA) degrees from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is an active speaker and member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), the Tennessee Health Information Management Association (THIMA) and the Nashville Health Care Council.
