Ms. Kumar currently leads QHR’s Revenue Cycle Consulting group.
She consults on a broad range of revenue cycle topics and also
participates in QHR’s education efforts. Ms. Kumar's focus is generally
on the front-end processes, yet she is well-versed in the entire revenue
cycle. QHR’s Revenue Cycle Consulting group spans the entire spectrum
to include patient access, coding and chargemaster, case management,
health information management, patient financial services, and managed
care.
Prior to joining QHR, Ms. Kumar worked as a project manager for a large
consulting firm specializing in revenue cycle reengineering. She worked with
client hospitals ranging from 350 beds to multi-hospital systems. In her prior
work, Ms. Kumar worked on a development team to redesign patient flow.
Ms. Kumar also has a background in general process improvement consulting,
cost accounting, and decision support.
