Concurrent DRG Review

QHR can help you create a successful Concurrent DRG Review process — not by placing a coder on the

unit, but by training your case manager to understand DRG documentation. The case manager can then

work with the physicians to correctly chart the patient's diagnosis, leading to more appropriate

reimbursement for the case. We offer three options to help you accomplish concurrent DRG review.

    CONCURRENT DRG REVIEW SEMINAR

This two-day seminar at the QHR Learning Institute
will help your hospital properly assign DRGs through
a Concurrent DRG Review process. Learn to support
your medical staff with documentation techniques to
ensure correct DRG assignment. Accurate DRG
coding upon discharge will result in appropriate
reimbursement, and may improve your accounts
    receivable days.
